Dr Xenia Doorenbosch is an Australian trained Neurosurgeon based at Memorial Hospital, North Adelaide. Her private practice consists largely of the treatment oftraumatic and degenerative spinal disorders, and she sees manypeople with work-related injuries and from the Defence Forces.
Xenia holds staff specialist positions at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. As well as her public appointments, Xenia is involved in the teaching of surgical trainees, and is on the Examination Committee of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Xenia is one of four surgeons nationally on the federal government committee that assesses and approves the equipment and implants used in spinal surgery for the private sector, a position which ensures she is always up to date with the latest surgical advances.
Xenia is an efficient, decisive and highly organised clinician, dedicated to delivering the highest level of care to her patients. She is an effective communicator, both with her patients and members of their treating team.
